DURENE L 75

ِAromatic polyisocyanate

Description

DURENE L-75 is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. The form supplied is approximately 75% in ethyl acetate. In combination with various hydroxyl-bearing substances to formulate two-component polyurethane coatings and adhesives.

Properties

Systems crosslinked with DURENE L-75 can be used as coatings for furniture, parquet flooring, metal, paper, plastics, and mineral substrates. These can be used to bond many materials, e.g. wood, metal, and plastic. The use of this polyisocyanate increases the resistance of the bonds to heat, oil, plasticizers, and many solvents. It ensures good adhesion to many materials, especially plastics. The pale inherent color of DURENE L-75 permits its use in bonding transparent plastic films for packaging.

Application

DURENE L75 can be used in coating crosslinked systems for Plastics, metal, papers, furniture, and parquet flooring. As a bonding agent, DURENE L-75 increases resistance to aromatic solvents and oils, as well as offers good stability in higher temperature regimes.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Storage in an original sealed steel container with 240 kg net weight.
• Recommended storage temperature: 0 – 30 °C.
• Protect from moisture, heat, and foreign material.
• Storage at higher temperatures will result in an increase in color and viscosity.
• Storage at significantly lower temperatures will result in solidification. This solidification is re-versible by briefly heating the product without adversely affecting the quality of the product.
• In sealed drums we guarantee a storage life of 6 months, provided that the product is stored
under dry cool conditions.
• Once opened the product should be used rapidly, because, like all isocyanates, it is sensible to
moisture
